Dutch and a Buddhist practitioner herself.
Since august 2001 does she visit and stay in Sikkim on a very regular basis
every year.
In March
2003 did she together with some local teachers start a small nursery school and
hostel in the same village Bhuriakhop. This school provides free education,
food and lodging for children from poor families from all over
Sikkim.
This project is very successful and currently has around 70 students.
